Arthyion Legal Center
Privacy Policy
How Arthyion collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to Arthyion websites, applications, account services, streaming features, support channels, and related products that link to it. It does not govern independent third-party services.
2. Information you provide
We may collect account identifiers such as username, email address, profile names, support communications, preferences, and information you submit when using the service.
If paid plans are offered, payment details may be processed by a payment provider. Arthyion should receive transaction identifiers and billing status rather than complete card numbers.
3. Information collected through use
We may collect device and browser details, IP address, general location derived from IP, request logs, security events, session information, feature interactions, search activity, event viewing, playback progress, saved items, and diagnostic information.
The current web interface stores session state, profiles, My List, recent viewing, progress, and notice preferences in your browser. See the Cookie and Storage Policy for details.
4. How information is used
We use information to provide and secure accounts, deliver streams and features, remember preferences, personalize discovery, process transactions, communicate service messages, answer support requests, measure performance, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce policies, and comply with law.
5. Legal grounds where required
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, processing may rely on performance of a contract, legitimate interests such as security and service improvement, compliance with legal obligations, or consent. You may withdraw consent where processing depends on consent.
6. How information may be shared
Information may be shared with hosting, security, analytics, communications, customer-support, content-delivery, payment, and other vendors that process it for Arthyion under appropriate restrictions.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users or the service, investigate abuse, enforce agreements, or complete a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale subject to appropriate protections.
7. Advertising and sale of information
The current web interface does not use advertising cookies and does not sell personal information for money. If Arthyion later introduces cross-context behavioral advertising or practices treated as a sale or sharing under applicable law, this policy and the available privacy controls must be updated before that use begins.
8. Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including providing accounts, maintaining security records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal obligations. Retention periods vary by data type and context.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. You should use a unique password, protect your device, and notify us of suspected account compromise.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of personal information, object to certain uses, withdraw consent, or appeal a privacy decision.
Requests may be sent to legal@arthyion.com. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where legally permitted or required. Authorized agents may submit requests where applicable.
11. Children
Arthyion is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 provided personal information, contact us so the issue can be reviewed.
12. International processing
The service may be operated and supported across countries. Where required, Arthyion should use lawful transfer mechanisms and safeguards for personal information moved across borders.
13. Third-party services
Streams, payment tools, links, and integrations may be provided by third parties with their own privacy practices. Review their notices before providing information directly to them.
A third-party player is requested only after you choose an event. Its operator may receive network and device information needed to serve the player, including your IP address, browser user agent, and playback requests. Arthyion does not intentionally send your account password or API bearer token to the player and requests it without a page referrer.
14. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service and legal requirements change. Material updates will be communicated as required. Privacy questions and rights requests may be sent to legal@arthyion.com.
